I've always considered myself an anime enthusiast but I haven't keep up with shows beyond your typical shonen trash (Naruto, OP, Bleach, HxH, MHA, etc)

I'm trying to grow out of battle shonen as I'm 28 now and start getting into other genres. I need some kind of recommendation chart for people who have only really dipped their toes into anime.

I've heard Toradora is a really good starting point for romcoms. I've also seen Watamote twice over and Blend S, though in the latter a friend had to literally sit me down and force me to watch.
