Because Netflix started up in the 00s, which was the golden age of online piracy. It was the wild west, everybody was torrenting and downloading and streaming illegally, and yet despite all that, Netflix managed to start and get bigger and bigger and become a monster company worth billions of dollars. All without playing copyright lawsuit whackamole or giving a fuck about piracy that they were in direct competition with.
So yeah, I don't think Netflix is going to waste any money or time on hunting down pirates. That's old school media conglomerate horse shit that they know for a fact does not work.
