So I've been really getting back into anime big this year, I've seen Cowboy Bebop, Serial Experiments Lain, and Hellsing (Ultimate and the dawn included). I love all of them, they're totally worth it, though I'm not sure if I enjoyed Lain as a story, more as an experience.
Point is, I'd like some recommendations, I haven't seen anything modern, matter a fact I wrapped up Ashita no Joe which is super old back in February, which I started in 2019. Old and new anime will do, I just like the aesthetic of older shows, and newer anime seem to be way too samey for me.
In the past I've seen:
JoJo, FLCL, Evangelion, One Punch Man, My First Girlfriend is a Gal, Kodomo no Jikan, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro chan, Panty and Stocking, Fullmetal Alchemist (and Brotherhood), KonoSuba (particularly enjoyed this a lot) and the Koe de Oshigoto OVA (that was a weird time but Kanna is still my first waifu). I'd prefer it be short and sweet with no filler, I don't want to burn out on 70 out 200+ episodes like I did watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn (I'm not counting anything I never finished due to being drawn out)
Currently I have lined up:
Megalo Box
Inter-species reviewers (dunno if I'll ever get to it)
Promare
and hey, I just realized I never finish watching Kill La Kill
(I also posted this in the wrong place prior to this so :P)
