Hey /g/, playing graphics intensive games recently got my computer to slowdown from time to time, I'd say once every twenty minutes. It's an Asus laptop, G752VY, and it used to run everything silky smooth, from games in ultra settings to VR. It's bizarre because it doesn't seem to be a CPU bottlenecking and it only started happening about a month ago. I had this laptop for about 5 years and never had any issues before. It also heats up quite a bit (CPU got to 97°C running The Forest on Medium settings today, does about the same with Monster Hunter) but even then, the CPU usage is not that high.
If you have any idea what might cause that, I'm interested. Pic related, normal activity when playing a game, 60FPS.
