The reason you're not getting 4chan users responding is that 4chan is not a social media site.

Chans are not social media, because they don't offer (neither anonymous or pseudonymous) persistent identity. You can't create a user account. You don't have a username. You don't have a password. You don't have a list of your contributions, you don't have a space you have control over, you don't have a reputation. "anonymous" is not a pseudonym, it is the literal lack of a name.

It's not possible to "have a 4chan". There is, in fact, a meme from 4chan that uses this exact phrase.

i would still consider it a social media though? its a media where youre social. its just that you dont have an identity on there, which is a really big part of what im doing. you remain anonymous. unless im stupid and missing something

I encourage you to come up with a definition of "social media" that includes 4chan but doesn't include repl.it, pastebin, or pixelcanvas.io.

If your sole criterion is
- you can post stuff

and you don't require any of
- you have a username
- you have an account
- contributions you make can be linked to your account
- you have a profile page
- your account can have biographical information
- your account can have a persistent reputation
- you can codify relationships with other accounts
- you can apply some form of moderation to things linked to your account

then this would include almost every online service that's not a static page. Your phone game has a squakbox? It's social media.

While I do share your sentiment it's not entirely true. Tripfags and to a lesser extent namefags do exist and they leave a traceable history of contributions.
