How can i use these results to prove or disprove that

-an increase in heart rate is associated with an increase in reaction time
-the lower the resting heart rate the lower the increase in reaction speed (decrease in reaction time)
-the lower the resting reaction time the lower the increase in reaction speed (obviously disproven but idk how to formalise that)

I'm vaguely aware that Chi Squared and Spearman's rank tests might be useful to asses correlation, but i don't really know how they work
