There was this short cartoon I recall seeing at the start of one of my Land Before Time sequel VHS' about an old grouchy dragon that lived in a cave and a young girl trying to interact with him. I think it was his Birthday or her Birthday and she was trying to get him to celebrate but he kept shutting her down until the end.
It's been bugging me for decades now that I haven't been able to find it.
It wasn't an episode of Dragon Tales before anyone asks by the way. It had an older animation style as far as I recall.
