I dislike old anime and that's a must for watching Gundam, LOGH is an Uber slot to get through, Eureka has tons of conflicting opinions so it's probably boring, and other shows are apparently weak with the fights being the only saving grace.
But 4chan said the same about Kimetsu and it's one of my favorites anime ever now, so perhaps people dismiss some mecha shows as "weak" when they are very entertaining in reality
