Yes, but it was a series first, and pretty good if you like psych mystery.

I wouldn't call it a comedy at all. It's one of the only anime I've cried at. That and Erased anyway. 10/10 anime.

At this point, you really should switch to primarily ingesting manga. It is substantially more kino and allows for a much larger range of reading.

Though not a lot, I do read a bit of manga. But at the risk of being a pleb, I really enjoy anime more. I love the japanese VAs and a good soundtrack too much to switch to reading manga only.

This look really interesting, but isn't it left unfinished ? My heart can't take any unfinished stories anymore after Berserk and HxH. I wanted to get into Vagabond manga too but I won't because of this reason.

If you haven't, you might as well finish Togashi out and read/watch Level E. I am not a pleb, so I can't speak to how good the anime is, but the manga can be good at times. It's basically an anthology series, so however good the current story is can vary greatly. As a Hunter x Hunter fan, you'll be interested to see the prototype for Greed Island.

As much as I love Togashi's amazing storytelling (and I really do), I kind of dislike him as a visual artist. He's pretty inconsistent with the quality of his drawings. But I'm sure it's an amazing experience, so I'll check it out when I'm in the mood for some manga, thanks.

I actually don't recommend it RIGHT NOW. Not that it's a bad manga but the anime at least has something that feels like an ending. If you begin the manga you will remain in limbo until Togashi releases more. And he is notoriously slow with his releases. Plus, there's not a whole lot to read after the anime left it off so you will plow through it really fast. I goddam miss best waifu Kurapika so much, but it's not worth the frustration just yet.

I've already come at peace with that, trust me I know a lot about HXH and its hiatuses. I've actually read the extended "end" of the manga in colored versions with them venturing off to the dark continent and it's really cool. It dosen't really frustrate me because I have thousands of other good animes to watch (One piece, and tons of other mainstream recommend). I meant starting over from the beginning though like the entire manga

OP here, I watched some episodes of Ashita no Joe like I said. Even though I like it, weirdly enough it gives me a really melancholic feeling and I can't continue to watch it for now. It's bizzare, but there's something about the artstyle, music and voice acting that gets to me. Did you or anyone else had this feeling when watching AnJ ?

Also to lighten my mood I started watching Tonegawa Middle Management Blues and it's pretty good. Any fans of this anime ?
