Yes, but it's better to just have enough space.

C:\DRIVERS is the default location that some OEM's (I think it's Lenovo's) driver packages extract to. The actual drivers have been installed already and are is \Windows\WinSXS

Right click on C: and cleanup drive, purge update shit and previous wingdongs installations if you had any. Thid gotta give you some space.

How do you not have enough space? even a 1TB SSD is 100$~ these days.
In fact, I've purchased multiple 8TB HDDs for around 125$.
Worrying about 3GB makes it sound like you're using an old phone...
