Images you import into it gets copied into a human-unfriendly folder structure and filename format (under the hood). So if you want to bail out someday, it'll be incredibly difficult and you have to manually reorganize everything again.
It's nice that if you have full faith in this program's tagging system and you fully believe that you'll use it for basically forever. But if you're half-hearted like me, it's hard to commit into it.
I get why the dev won't add a feature to load files from external folders, but I hope someday someone will make some sort of plugin for that.
Another thing I don't like is that this makes it hard for other external programs to interop with it.
