Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans has an also bleak and very realistic approach to things with some good mech fight scenes.

/m/ here to point out fight scenes only happen once every three episodes, have very bad storyboarding, the protagonists are unlikable cunts, and the pacing is dreadfully slow (first season more so). Just giving a heads up it's a very divisive series.
