Guys. I need a good reference (like ONU or OMS) about what is gender-based violence. Not violence against woman, gender based violence.
But cant find nothing. Does the concept even exist in english?

Yes, I know it does exist in spanish. And indeed, there are some websites talking about it:

And the issue even has a wikipedia article. But you tend to talk about violence against woman, and say that the gender violence goes only against them. What have official relevant organisations to say? I dunno.

1. Don't know what the hell you're asking, to be honest. Mind rephrasing it?
2. Is basically tha violence directed against a person due to the gender that he or she has as well as the expectations about the role that he or she must fulfill in a society or culture. Or as it is popularly said too: violence against a woman for the mere fact of being one.
It talks about the causes of the violence, more than just about it being directed to a woman.
More or less, the same that's said in that anglo article that I shared. So one can suspect that, being officially recognized or not, the neologism must exist.
3. I didn't made it up, if you look for it on google you're gonna find a ton of apparently serious websites, youtube channels, and feminists using it.
The problem is that what I'm looking for isnt what a feminist has to say, but a reliable reference, like the un or who.
Hope somebody can help me, pls.

If somebody says "violence based on the race" I think, being those meaningfull linguistic elements, you won't interpret potatoes from that. Maybe is a common thing between anglos (if you're one) not being able to extract information from word combinations they've never seen before; or maybe, just maybe, is just you who is an intolerant retard.

That's the root of your error. Languages have idioms, you can't just take a phrase from one language and "translate" each word and assume that a) the phrase exists in that language, and b) it exists with the same exact meaning, nuance and connotations.

If I told you the last time I was in Tokyo, "I stayed in a mansion" what would you think? I hope you'd think my Japanese skills were shit, because I'd produced a phase by substituting words, and destroyed the meaning.

And your problem is that you don't know how to read. Just in the last reply I specified it to you.

This was the way in which I came up to that. And reading some uses of it, that's the godamn thing. The only thing I wanted was an official definition of it. Is all I asked for. The "not violence against woman, but gender-based violence" is because all the articles I found in the un or who for some reason had the latter as title in the index, but the former inside the article.

You're ignoring a little, small, detail. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IS THE GODAMN PROPER WAY TO CALL IT, AND A COMMON EXPRESSION IN ENGLISH. I knew it from the very first post, and just asked for a good reference on what it is. (I said I wasnt able to find a definition on the term by the nu and who, not that it wasnt mentioned by them) If you don't know the term, it isn't my godamn fault.
The "Violence because of race" thing was because you exposed it like a meaningless potatoe-like thing.

Anyway, being a native speaker of a language is the nearest you will ever get of being able to say "I speak that language". Yes my friend, in spain, even if you don't know a shit about it, people speak natively more than just spanish.

Fair cop, and I apologise. The intended thrust of the statement was that your English is not as good as you think it is, and you need to make your audience aware of this or they'll use idioms, colloquialisms and dialectic English that will end up confusing you.

Implying your inaptitude in other languages (or dialects you consider to be languages) was a distraction. I don't think it's the big deal you seem to, but it should have read
