choose your torrent client: transmission, deluge or qbittorrent
choose your video player: mpv, vlc (kinda bad) or mpc-hc
configure the torrent client: see /t/ sticky
configure the media player: for mpv, find the mpv thread on /g/ or /g/ archives, don't know about others
now go to
nyaa.si, tokyotoshokan or horriblesubs and find a torrent for an anime you want to watch. more seeds is better, so sort by seeds on those sites
that's the setup that works the best for me and many other people
