motherboard running high temps after power outage

Just built my first pc back in january and had a power outage yesterday.
Ever since the power outage my motherboard has been running at 43-56c idle and 56-69c when ANY program is open, even an antivirus.
Did the power outage fry my motherboard?

Possible. Take your system apart and inspect for any burnt out components. It could also be something as simple as your room is very hot in summer compared to January.

Just checked.
All capacitors are fine and nothing on it looks out of place or anything.

Do you mean your chipset temp or ambient temp? The motherboard isn't an individual thing and there's no way to properly measure the temp across its entirety.

if it's an amd motherboard then it's probably designed to do it so it dies in a few years

check the heatsinks for the VRM, North bridge and any other heatsink attached to the board
should be 3 or 4 or more

are they lose?

if it's an amd board sometimes those pan
push really high voltages by default and needs to be lowered
