One day I started my pc and started playing gta. The game loaded but simply getting out of the safe house to the streets, it started freezing, lagging like crazy, I ignored must be because of the loading but it persisted. Then I looked at the task manager, cpu at 100%. Some process called webhelper. Googled it, turns out utorrent updated itself and this malware is built into it. Simply uninstalling this webhelper doesn't do shit. It comes back and fries your pc.
Uninstalled jewtorrent and installed qbitorrent. Completely satisfied. Dark theme. Doesn't start full screen on boot. Search torrents from client with plugins. Easily navigable and detailed panes. Separate lists for showing status of downloads. Lot of advanced features and customisation. Lightweight and no bloat.
