I want to take two videos, an original and a fan remake, and play them side by side to show people for comparison. I also just want a program I can use for any other dumb things I want to clip together in the future. I've used a free version of Lightworks in the past (long since stopped) and I currently use Xmedia Recode to cut out portions of videos (if I can use it to string those clips together I have no idea).
What are some beginner friendly video editing software with enough features to let me do what I mentioned at the start? Adobe?
In addition if they aren't free, how much do they cost or where would you recommend to get a download of them?
