Good 2000s anime?

Im watching rahxephon and planning to watch haibane renmei.Am looking for something made in the 2000s.Any genre goes.

I don't know much about rahxephon, but looking a the genres, I'll stick with Full Metal Panic.

Some other ones I liked are Sekirei, Darker than Black, A certain Magical Index, and Welcome to the NHK. All liked for different reasons.

Magical girl that watches more like sci-fi mecha.

There are 3 anime series made in the 2000s. The first 4 episodes of the first series follow the traditional magical girl formula exactly, which may be boring.

Full Metal Panic (the 1st season didn't quite age well in terms of animations but it is def worth it as one of the better mecha series, after that the Fumoffu and The Second Raid seasons are great, Invisible Victory came out in 2018 but that arc is better in the Full Metal Sigma manga)

ive also been interested in wolfs rain but it seemed kind of booring.

Clannad
Hellsing Ultimate (although some ovas were released in 2011 or 12 but it still is regarded as one of the essential 2000s series). Still idk if you watched any of these

FLCL is amazing (top 10 favorites for me), S2 is ok but nothing S1. S3 is trash.
Samurai Champloo is probably my favorite of all time, its episodic so you be binge watching it but its really good. This and FLCL have the best OST ever.
Welcome to NHK is good if you like some drama about a depressed NEET. Good OST
Code Geass for some mindless fun
Death Note for great suspense and OST
Monster for a long mistery/drama that really pays off in the end. Best ''villain'' ever.

On top of mind those are a few I rec. There are a lot of early 2000's anime that are completly 'unkown' or not discussed. 2006-2009 is probably the golden years of anime.
