Sometimes, it is better to open several different windows - particularly good if you use a large monitor or HD TV. you can then use "restore down", scale and move the individual windows so that they are all simultaneously visible = this is particularly good when all the windows are updating themselves in real time - e.g. several chess games that are being broadcast concurrently and you want to follow them all on 2D board simulations etc.
