Lately, I've grown a huge interest in stories related to adoption, normal, weird or pretty fucking outlandish, whatever. Does anyone here know any good comics or stories relating to the subject?

I've read Laska and Me, but...That got kind of weird later on. The early chapters were some top shit, though. Outlandish, but good.

An additional question: I'd like to find a comic, but got nothing to go on. Saw some pictures about a comic where some fish/merfolk girl got adopted, but I can't find it. Doesn't help that I've got literally nothing related to it, not even the picture about it that I found.

Ring any bells? The art wasn't all that good, but the story might be really interesting.
