I need some anime recommendations from you faggots. Heres my criteria:

you can exclude genres in advanced search options, no comedy for this link, this reduces variety by a lot

anidb has weighted tags so we can exclude pure comedy shows while shows with bits of comedy are kept by using exclude comedy ***

no idea if this meets realism/nobullshit requirement, but that is highly subjective

Welcome to the NHK fit all of my criteria so that's why I mentioned it. There are more ways to take advantage of the medium than to have crazy robots or looks creaming themselves over the same protagonist who's been in every anime ever. NHK's plot wouldn't work in a real series. If you can't see that you're pretty ignorant.

Thanks. I will look into them. I have seen "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" and that had a nice mood. It was alright for a movie but the series was boring and I didn't like the aliens.
