Fight it for as long as you can, but the golden age of internet freedom is pretty much over and this site is one of the last holdouts from that era.

In the future, the internet will be so sterilized that every single thing you post on ANY given website will be right alongside your full legal name and the picture that appears on your government issued ID if you have one.

That's already happened. Making a facebook account requires you to put your name as it appears on your unique identification card we have here similar to social security number. Authenticating the account with your working phone number is already mandatory on all social media.
