What's the best online COMPREHENSIVE course for learning Japanese? Comprehensive meaning, I can go from zero to "able to survive in Japan."

background: I took a year of elementary Japanese. I know some basic grammar, words, and a few kanji.

just download GENKI textbooks and workbooks from Library Gensis and do a few pages every day, really not that hard. once you figure out japanese IME on the keyboard just try chatting with nips on comments in youtube videos or something and see if they can understand you or not

I still have my genki 1 book and the workbook that comes with it, it’s just not as effective without a teacher who is a native speaker. I would know, I tried it both ways.
