If you've played Fallout 4 then you know about the settlement systems.

I'm looking for games similar in that way, you build some defenses and defends the place.. kinda like tower defense but not tower defense.
any PC games recommendation for such thing?

I mean those moving colorful orbs, cubes and other polygon shapes are uncomfortable to me.. it's like watching through a kaleidoscope with bugs patterns, I can't get the word but it gives me eerie itch.
