Why the fuck are file sizes on nyaa. si overexaggerated. I was looking for a 1080p tokyo godfathers movie and the sizes ranges from 5 GiB to 10 GiB, fucking hell. Yes i cant look for a normal sized one.

Screw that shit. I used to download movies with a resolution of very hd 1080p from shady streaming sites for a few hundred megabytes and 1 gigabyte at most and they were fine. I don't know shit about encoding but a few GiBs added is just redunant

You're right, it's been ridiculous for years. You can usually find 480 or 360 versions of what you're looking for, at least if it's recent. If it's older you might be stuck with the ridiculous stuff. In that case I download the smallest one available and re-encode it as a 480 mp4 with hardsubs.
