Some time ago I found an old site called Nausicaa online or something, it hosted plenty Ghibli related material. The letter I'm looking for is a Letter that Miyazaki wrote for a japanese Magazine back in 1986 or something where he analyzes the entire animation industry in Japan: Influences, drawbacks, strong points and compares it with the animation in the rest of the world.
