Get job, keep for 2 years before trying to borrow. Some banks will let you slide with a year but dont expect it.
Start a bank account at a local credit union instead of a chain bank, have some bills and use bank account to pay them.
Writing checks apparently looks better on credit than autopay or monthly withdrawl.
Save money in bank, atleast $2500 balance for atleast 6 months.
