Noob here, been watching various anime but I really enjoyed some slice of life-type shows like Lucky Star, Kinmoza, Azumanga and K-On. Any similar suggestions for endearing funny shows to doze off to?

I'd say Sketchbook Full Colors, Yuyushiki, and the aria series fit the bill

Check out Daily Lives of Highschool Boys (Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō)

It's basically the male version of Nichijou, but a lot funnier.
