I've been searching for good anime movies for a while now. I just can't seem to find them. They're all full of 80's robots or kawaii lolis.

Post here your favorite anime movies of all time!

Anime movies are pretty bad, just watch everything ghibli does (except tales of earthsea), ej. nausicäa, mononoke hime, castle, etc.
But these are worth watching:

I hope you noticed that you just backpedaled there. Your original claim was that anime movies are bad, not that there are no good ones. I would therefore only have to post a movie that isn't bad to falsify that claim - unless, of course, you actually think that there's only a good-bad dichotomy and not a spectrum of which those judgements are extreme end parts of (which I seriously hope you don't do).

As for my suggestion of "a not bad movie" -
Redline
Is a high budget anime movie about illegal racing with crazy cars. Think a slightly more gritty anime wacky races. The plot may be cliched but is still solid, but it never really set out to be the forefront of innovation. The visuals, OST and action in it come together to make a good enjoyable movie.

I loved this, but yeah it was slow. It sure was gorgeous to look at and it had a sweet story though.

Children who chase lost voices was also rather nice from what I remember.
