Block 4chan through hosts file?

I have added the following entries to my Windows 10 hosts file:

0.0.0.0 4chan.org
0.0.0.0 4channel.org
0.0.0.0 boards.4chan.org
0.0.0.0 boards.4channel.org
0.0.0.0 www.4chan.org
0.0.0.0 www.4channel.org

None of these load, however when I go to a directory like boards.4channel.org/wsr/, then that does load. Is there anything I can do?

How would that even work? The DNS resolver doesn't know you're going-to-use http.
