Is there an anime that is as aesthetically depressing, bitter and desperate as Texhnolyze? Where the characters are destroyed by the world they live in? Texhnolyze had everything I've ever wanted in an anime. I've looked for a long time to find an anime of the same quality and similar elements but I haven't found it. There are authors like Matsumoto Jiro among others that can capture misery and mental instability, but not exactly on the same scale as Texhnolyze. Does anyone know of any series?
