In American business the dumbest of things can be sexual harassment such as asking a woman about her clothing, complimenting a woman or even buying a woman flowers on their birthday. All can be misread sexual advances in the eyes of HR. I was kicked out of the company refresher because I brought up how a tie is sexual harassment because it points to a mans genitals.
