>>13523720I can tell you how it went for me:
For me it went about that I always recognized Christs teachings and morals (the few i heard about at least) to be correct and good, just didnt buy into the God thing. Then i made some threads on History eventually
>https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/226425485and I saw just how much of the myths around the world confirm another and the Bible. The gods/angels mating with our people creating the ruling lines of many, the war in heaven correlating with the titanomancy and ragnarök, the flood myth all around the world, reports of devastating events similar toe Sodom and Gommorah in the Vedas but also archeological findings correlating with the Bibles even more wilder narratives
>>340681233 >>340681356Eventually Pizzagate broke and I started looking into the occult and metaphysical arguments
>>340690352 >>340690420 and saw there that the Bible again provides the best explenation of things.
So at this point I got convinced the ancient myths to be historical and that an ultimate Creator has to exist. And due to personal life experience confirming the goodness of the morals it was evident that even in this the Bible spoke the truth and the leap of faith to be done was but a really small one.
As I thought Jesus teachings to be correct and good regardless of his divinity either way, and by extent the OT law as well too I desired to live according to it to not bring harm on loved ones around me, and. even when wrong the faith gives me strength to keep doing good and resist temptation too. I just saw no negative in believing Christ. Either he is real and should be worshipped or the creator didnt bother to give us a specific gospel and so probably wouldnt mind too much if I go by Christs example
basically, Christ is King
