>>15981534>privacy reasonsDepends on how you mean that, I guess. If you mean that being scared of getting doxxed and having pizzas sent over to your house, you could straight up drop your address here and nobody would care to do anything. It's funny how people are scared of even sharing their first name around these places, as if anything is ever going to come out of it. That doesn't mean you should go ahead and give everything out, of course, but I don't think sharing your opinion on things is giving out actual privacy in any form. People are just made to believe it's so.
If you mean with security and staying off the grid, then, the thing is anybody who actually cares about OPSEC wouldn't be here on this site anyway. This place is a known honeypot and has had literal malware on it in the past. If you're here, sharing your thoughts about hamburgers or really anything isn't going to change what the glowies already have on you, assuming all the other things you likely make use of. Let's be honest, the 99% of people around here aren't exactly individuals who should be caring about that, anyway. You're not escaping the botnet by not expressing yourself online.
People who seriously care about that are in other sites, and tend to be pretty oversharing individuals themselves, actually. I really don't believe that it's the case with anybody here, more so goes for people that don't even want to post.
At the end of the day, there might be exceptions, but the majority of the people are just like I said before.
Which isn't a bad thing, I mean, you're not doing something bad by not putting care into your shitposts, lol, but I feel that it's bad if it feeds into other things and makes you never think about anything, because you think it just doesn't matter.
>I assume you do know what iyashikei is.Sure, yeah. But that's just from watching mundane things, doing it yourself is something else. And what people seem to be scared away or look down upon, unfortunately.
