>>14243436This was the period the Edomites mixed into Judah and took things over. At the time of Jesus the established king even as Edomite

Also the Pharisee, which were the main ones who attacked and accused Jesus, are one of 3 sects, and the most vile of them. Then there are the Saducceeswhich were rather dragged along by the Pharisee to incite and accuse in front of and the Essenes which are not mentioned in the Bible. Josephus tells us that only the Essenes are native to Judeah (even though he is of the judaistic faith and thus would have motive to portray the Pharisee as the legit and thus native ones) which is one of the reason (aside from their more spiritual interpretation of scripture) that some assume Jesus to have been and Essene (as he too would be native, being a descendent of Judah and David)

The followers of the first of which are the Pharisees; of the second, the Sadducees; and the third sect, which pretends to a severer discipline, are called Essens. These last are Jews by birth, and seem to have a greater affection for one another than the other sects have.Considering that Pharisee are not natives and favored by Herod the Edomite we can conclude they too are mainly Edomites.
It is to note that like Esau lost his blessing and resented Jacob for it (even though they made up) so the modern Jews too resent Christians as they perceive to have stolen their blessing they perceive they earned through their upholdings of the law (which for the Pharisee was legalistic pilpul to argue you stick to the law while ignoring the intent and purpose of it
