>>20154871Cassie hands the phone back to Delilah without watching the videos. “I’m fully aware of how Kanako has lashed out lately.”
Cassie turns away and gazes out of a window through which a birds eye view of the Tokyo skyline can be seen. “Kanako is well trained and dangerous in her own way, but ultimately her actions are those of a child lashing out. A cry for attention. My own sister is no better, she sent me a laughable video a few weeks ago, apparently thinks she owns Club Xtacy now. I ignored her, just as I’ve ignored Kanako. Denying naughty girls the attention they crave often has quite the effect on them, you see.”
She turns back toward Delilah with a grin on her face. “In Kanako’s case, denying her the acknowledgement she’s after seems to result in increasingly rash behaviour. And, Delilah, just look how things have panned out so far. Kelly and Kasumi defeated her and Reina. Kasumi defeated Ciel-”
“She goes by Miss O’Brian now,” Delilah interjects.
“Right. In any case, the way I see it, The Widowmaker Society is 2-0 up on this Deathproof group of hers. Her rash challenge to face us in a Wargames match and her challenge to Kelly will only result in further failure for her and her allies.” Cassie chuckles. “The poor girl just might lose her mind by that point.”
Delilah nods. “So, we’re not going back to Spaghetti Town then?”
“I’m not,” Cassie replies. “Xtacy Tokyo is almost ready for its grand opening. And I still haven’t met those two cousins of mine. They have my room number, I’m sure they’ll show up sooner or later, and if things go well, they could be useful, both here and in America.”
“But while I’m not going back yet,” Cassie eyes Delilah, “it’s time you do. Get your things packed, and make yourself available to support Kelly and Kas- Miss O’Brian from ringside during their matches until such time as I deem it fit to finish Kanako off myself.”
Delilah nods. “As you wish, boss.”
