move out of where? of this place i'm in right now? well first of all i haven't moved out of here yet but the reason i told my landlord i'm moving out is because he apparently thought he could inspect the place whenever he wanted and raise the rent based on arbitrary standards he picked out like a dirty sink. i'm not really going to put up with that. all my other landlords i've either just transferred the money or handed it to them at the front door at pre-defined appointment times. this guy called me up at 12 today and said he was coming in for the rent at 13:00 and when i let him into the kitchen so we could use the table to write down the check for the rent, he decided he could inspect the kitchen for cleanliness.
i'm not saying it was "advantageous" to move out, i'm just in a good spot financially and i don't need to put up with his bullshit.
