Because of that, I've just zero pointers to give on it, sorry. The best you can do is just not be in the most unlikely place for it to happen. It's hard to tell where there's a chance of it, but you can at least figure where there isn't. I think those servers that you hang out in might just be one of the more unlikely places.
Hell, you might just run into people you like again if you just play games some more and interacting with the communities they have, while enjoying it of course. It really can happen still in this day and age, trust me. So, who knows, but I hope you get over the feeling of loneliness in some way or another.

I'm not asking for much from life at the moment, so, as long as I get a job to keep me afloat and able to do the simple things that I enjoy, then I figure that I'd be alright. The main fear is just that if I'll even be able to do that. That's why I'm hoping that I'm just exaggerating how hard real life will be. The horror stories going around the country don't really help with it, but, maybe it really won't be that bad, if I just have the will to keep going with and put a little effort. Can manage that.
