I used to beat my wife every day for 4 years. I never intended to be violent but it’s so hard to restrain yourself when life gets to you. Usually there was no reason, I was just projecting my troubles on her so I could beat them up. I knew that, but I was too weak to stop and I'm ashamed to admit it. But during lockdown I got the courage to man up and became a better person. It was hard, but we've repaired things between us and I put great effort into finding more productive outlets. I'm proud to report that instead of beating my wife every week, I’ve cut down to only beating her on Fridays. I even donate to spousal abuse charity and run in fund-raising marathons, and last year I did Don’t Beat Your Wife December (but she did not have a good new years, let me tell you lol). So what I’m trying to say is: the secret to self improvement is not being perfect, it's being better. We’re all gonna make it bros!!
