I did some research because i was mildly interested in Romania's claim to fame, so:
As far as i can see, the statistics show that Romania has at best, a decent country with some okay scenic areas and a somewhat friendly populace.
It's a heavily religeous place with bad political power distribution, but with a lot of care about gender equality.
It's not very culturally significant, nor is it a fashionable place, nor does it have an influential culture. Many say they aren't happy living there either.
The population isn't very educated, and they don't have much of a skilled workforce.
However, they do have a bunch of cultural attractions and they do have some history- although their food stinks.
Their business ethics are non-existent as many businesses are corrupt and therefore have cheap manufacturing costs as they can get away with anything. Also, the Government practices in Romania are Opaque as fuck.
Romania is a very weak country, military wise, and does not have an influence on the world Economy-wise or politically, and their army is not well tended to.
Finally, it seems that romania does not have a good job market, and is unsafe to live in, the majority of areas being family unfriendly and low income. They also do not have a very good public education system or health system.
So, there you go /bant/. Romania in a nutshell.
