>>16492361This is the same energy as those two downies who tried to ruin a painting because of oil, or whatever it was. Except that it's way more extreme. But still ends with you not being taken any seriously.
There's going to be a couple sympathizers who feel for him because of being just as autistic as he was, sure, but even they will forget about him after a month at most, and ultimately what he did will just be in complete vain. As it happened.
He genuinely believed that this would make an impact, too. He made a bunch of Facebook posts about just how bad muh fossil fuel is, and how he didn't kill himself but fossil fuel did. I think it's safe to say that he really thought he would make a difference with the message. Why the fuck ever would you go on ahead with something like this, other than being fully convinced it would work that way? If it were otherwise, I doubt he would say things like "fossil fuel killed me".
Maybe he did simply want to die, but I get the feel that it was more. Especially considering that he was a serious environmental activist before, I think that he wanted to take his efforts further and do something he thought would have made a real difference. Which it didn't.
He was also an old retard who doesn't really understand how things work, so, not surprising if he thought that he would change things by protesting against fossil fuel on Facebook and then committing self-immolation for people to notice it. He might've figured that he just needs to drawn attention towards the message.
These are the delusions of a child. I remember hearing about a kid who killed himself asking for people to stop violence. Which is sad, but this isn't a little kid. He was a 60 year old man. Believing that he could do anything against the usage of fossil fuel by crying about it on Facebook and then setting himself on fire.
I really, really wanna know what he was thinking exactly.
