Cough– I mean– We're quite in a similar situation here. The government kinda does some things like teaching classes and giving jobs to young people, and there's a lot of services, but everything has gone to like... x4 their original value from when I was a child. Something like an alfajor (a sweet, kind of macaron-shaped pastry) went from being $15 the cheapest, and $80 the most expensive, to being $50 being the cheapest and $180 the most expensive sometimes. We suffer from a lot of inflation and stagnant payments per month. Many people in my country loved Turkish novelas and series and when I was a child, my mom loved them, until she got tired from the cliché scenes and the same plots of orphaned kid, widow who falls in love with some rich or fancy dude, you know, the usual melodramas. Haha.
I've always thought Turkey had a very... Interesting history and culture. I feel like there's a slight resemblance between the Spanish and the Turks sometimes.
