>>20330380Bronze was one of the most important metals at the time of Jesus and it is made of tin and copper.
Britain had the richest tin mines in the world and Joseph of Arimathea owned many tin mines there.
Joseph is mentioned in the works of early church historians such as Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Tertullian, and Eusebius,
who added details not found in the canonical literature.
He is said by medieval genealogists to be the Uncle of Mary. Jesus was buried in his tomb.
Now the funny thing is this. Jesus' cousin John the Baptist did not recognize Jesus when he saw him at 33 years old.
"I myself did not know him; but for this I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel."
(John 1:31)
This is extremely odd. Think about it. Mary was Jesus' mother and she was born in Sepphoris which was part of Galilee.
Her cousin (John the Baptists' mother) was also born there. He should have seen Jesus regularly or at least once a year when they were required to attend temple service.
Yet he does not recognize Jesus. Why ?
Well the theory is because he traveled with his uncle Joseph to Britain during those missing years from the age of 12 to 29.
