Patriotism can be self-taught at any age, as long as you stray away from TV for few years. I don't even know how that thing still exists and remains profitable, I guess we have a lot of elderly that need their daily dose of sloppy propaganda and disco polo music. Last time I showed my grandma something with more essence, she said that everything is boring and meh, and honestly, I think she just stares at the sparkly screen because it is sparkly, she can never discuss what she is or was just watching, and she really just does it out of a certain ritual, when balcony is too cold and dark to be sat on. She reminds me a bit of my lonely guinea pig I had long time ago, that spend 90% of it's life in two favourite spots of his. I wish I had done more for him..
