The majority of the people that complain about it are offboarders who wish to replace it and /bant/'s community with their own forced memes. This happened too many times to count, the suggested replacement being either some even more obscure Japanese Culture character (Kagari, Kotori, Kogasa, ect.), or total non-starters like the Cookie King and Dice King.
