To preface you may say that we dont follow logic and reason, but in order for us to move forward, no, we dont go against logic and reason. If we did then we wouldn't have clung to Socratic methods and Platonic thinking. We want to think about God as reasonably as the next guy, understand we do this in good faith, so trust that the same scrupulosity you attribute to Christianity we do that as well.
