>any other anime/manga you'd recommend?I actually only watch an anime like, once every 3 years. So I can't give any good recommendations, sorry, lol. I just like 2D girls a lot. But try reading the manga for Gunslinger Girl, it was rather cool, it has some psychological elements like Madoka too, I suppose. There is an anime for it, but, eh, the manga is better.
One thing I'd definitely recommend, look up the Puella Magi wiki, or whatever it was, and read through the archived threads on this site about the anime when it first came out and everything, it's very fun to read through, it's like a time capsule.
