>[A specific chime from Victoria's bag denotes official business. Perhaps she has spent long enough outside of her... duties. Heavy is the head that wears the Crown.]"Ah, pray forgive me, it seems I am needed elsewhere."
>[Victoria motions to the children behind Fury.]"Perhaps as are you. Enjoy the festival, Ms Fury."
>[Two notifications await Her Majesty.]The first from The Queensguard. Ms Elyssa Laurentine has noted the arrival of Ms Nicole Kade. Victoria had eagerly awaited handling the archive visitation personally, though these wishes had fallen through at behest of Sir Borracho. The Queen in the archives means security in the archives means coverage of the building means... simply too much. Another time, perhaps. Victoria will be sure to pay a visit, at any rate. Sometimes a stray dog needs a firm hand.
The second, she admits, is far more interesting. It seems the WWA has assigned her a tag team partner for the impending Tag Team Scramble. Victoria reads the line up, coming to her own name, drawn third from the pool of 32. Her partner: The Jersey Devil, the mischievous demon girl who ran roughshod through the A Block of the B1 Climax late last year. A noted submission user, as well. Victoria is pleased.
With one final glance at the Annual festival grounds, Victoria heads to where a car is waiting for her, and indeed has been waiting for some time -- though, there will be no complaints from the driver. Behind Her Majesty, several inconspicuous men and woman of varying dress also leave the grounds, speaking not a word to each other as they get into unmarked cars, tapping once on their left ears.
The Queen smiles. Today was a good day. But so it seems the Devil comes knocking, and Victoria needs to ensure her house is in order.
