It's so tiresome.Me too, when I first started seeing encapsulated coins get more popular when I was a kid i found the whole concept revolting and entirely contrary to the spirit of collecting, and also incompatible with my hands-on approach to enjoying the hobby. I've never owned a single slabbed coin and have no interest in changing that, plus raw coins are usually cheaper anyway.
