>>16597891I live on imageboards, I'm addicted to the format. That's probably the most straightforward answer I could give.
Plus, I wouldn't know where else I can comfortably do it. Not that I would care to. This site is the most mainstream thing I touch for social media purposes, and ever will. I wouldn't be able to bare anything even a little more cancer.
I also think it would make zero real change where I did it. It's a really superficial difference, at it's core. Whether you "blog" here or in wherever else, it's just the same anyway.
Only really bored people try to place any thinking of that sort into something like this. The environment and a part of interaction will be a little different wherever you go, sure, but at the end of the day, you're doing the same shit.
When it comes to talking to myself, I might as well be typing on Notepad, really.
But at least I feel homely on a chan, and they tend to have a couple or so people who I actually like talking to. And I get to post images. I wouldn't post here if I couldn't avatar every post, frankly.
Anyway. If I took a different turn at some point and spent years on Twitter instead, that's probably where I'd be doing it than here. Same goes for you.
That's really all it comes down to, familiarity.
And I obviously can't suddenly settle in somewhere else after spending so long in imageboards, I guess you could use moving to another country as an analogy. You're still gonna be living there and doing your thing, sure, but I don't think you'll be as comfortable as at home, not for a while.
You can classify this place as social media, anyhow. I don't really know how you see this shithole in your eyes, but it's nothing grand. You're just in a pozzed honeypot.
My point is, it's not really that strange. I post what I want just like you do. Don't look too much into it.
And for what reason do you come here? Curious.
